National Lloyds Insurance Company has a position available for a Data Analyst reporting to the EVP of Product Integrity.

Job duties and skills: must be an advanced Excel and Access user, able to handle large datasets; must be familiar with terminology and concepts of P&C loss reserving and pricing; must be familiar with basic principles and practices of accounting; must have the ability to learn and to use proprietary and vendor systems; must have the ability to use Word, PowerPoint and Adobe proficiently; must be able to analyze, balance, review and prepare datasets for use in loss reserving, pricing and management information reporting; must have good communication skills; must have the ability to work independently; must be able to meet deadlines under pressure; must be able to work after hours or weekends, as needed; must have knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance; must be able to plan and organize time wisely to meet goals; must be able to monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information; must liaise and attend meetings with other company departments necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development; and must attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Requirements: A BA/BS or higher in mathematics, computer science, finance, risk management or other analytical discipline is required.
