On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Dr. Vince Kaminski will present a finance department research seminar entitled “Credit Risk Management Past Dodd-Frank and MF Global”.   The seminar will take place in the Graduate Office Conference Room from 3:30-5 p.m. that day.

Dr. Kaminski has had a long and distinguished career in both academia and the private sector.  He currently holds a faculty appointment at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.  He has also held important research-related positions with Enron, Salomon Brothers, Citigroup, and various other firms.  His expertise is in the area of financial risk management, a topic that he has written extensively about; e.g., see his book entitled Energy Modelling: Advances in the Management of Uncertainty.
